Dry Embossing

Hold the card firmly over a light source ie: a window or a light box.
The stencil needs to be under the card. Light coloured card is the easiest to see through as it is more transparent.

At this point you will be looking at the back of the card. Using the small end of a stylus tool trace around the edges of the image on the stencil.

To fill in the image rub back and forth with the stylus tool in the open areas of the stencil. This will enhance the raised effect on the card.

Tips:
Finish the entire picture before removing the stencil.
Sometimes using tape to hold the stencil in place makes it easier.
You can rub colour over the raised areas to enhance them.
