Stamp an image on your card and also onto a
piece of scrap paper. Cut out the image from the scrap paper,
cutting as close to the outside line as possible (this is called
the ‘mask’).
Place the mask over the stamped image on the card.
Now you can stamp other images or do a background technique. When the mask is
removed, the original image will have been protected.
