Stamping

Pat the stamp lightly onto the pad a few times to build up an even coverage of ink on the stamp surface (don’t push your stamp hard into the pad).

Turn stamp over and check ink coverage over the entire surface before stamping.

stamping

Press the stamp firmly onto the paper with even pressure over the entire stamp.
Don’t rock or wriggle the stamp or the image will come out blurred.

Tips:
Small stamps with fine lines need gentle pressure, larger stamps with heavy lines and solid areas will require greater pressure.
It is also a good idea to stand up while stamping if plenty of pressure is required.
Experiment, and get to know your stamps as every stamp is different.
